Another interesting finding from Network for Good’s study of online giving. Most online giving occurs from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays, when donors are at work. In fact, the study found that donors see online giving as so much a part of the workday that giving drops off during lunchtime.This study affirms what many organizations already know—online donors are typically younger and wealthier than their direct mail counterparts. And now we know that giving is on their workplace “to do” list.
