Digital Strategist


The Digital Strategist (DS) at Integrated Direct Marketing will serve as an internal expert in the field of digital marketing and fundraising, keeping abreast of industry trends and pursuing training and accreditation wherever possible to advance understanding. Working closely with clients, senior leadership and the digital marketing team, they will develop digital fundraising strategies that leverage digital technologies that fit the needs of our clients. They will be responsible for maintaining productive relationships with vendors, designers, and copywriters and ensuring client satisfaction. And, they will support the account management team’s day-to-day execution of client programs—from kickoff to delivery—to achieve clients’ goals and ensure deliverables meet expectations.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Produces and manages annual and quarterly fundraising budgets and cash flow projections for clients
  • Provide detailed performance analysis for web, advertising, and campaigns
  • Defines campaign goals, and then designs, implements, and assesses split and multivariate testing to increase average gifts, improve engagement metrics, and drive more traffic through conversion tunnels
  • Conducts program and creative asset audits that will lead to the design and implementation of new marketing automations for recommend audiences as necessary for organization’s reinstatement and conversion goals
  • Crafts content strategies for clients, designing digital assets, including emails, advertisements, social media, web forms, and lightboxes
  • Works with clients to design and custom develop digital fundraising and lead capture technologies to drive list growth and improve revenue attribution
  • Designs and manages acquisition campaigns through social media channels on behalf of clients
  • Regularly conducts user experience testing and quality assurance of digital assets to ensure a seamless brand experience

Experience and Qualification

  • Minimum of 4+ years of experience in digital marketing; ideally in fundraising and email
  • Confident working with and learning multiple marketing platforms (e.g. Luminate Online, Engaging Networks, Every Action, Salesforce, or Springboard)
  • Proven experience in SEO, SEM, PPC and other digital marketing channels
  • Excellent project management skills and experience; ability to collaborate and meet deadlines

Digital Production Specialist


The Digital Production Specialist (DPS) at Integrated Direct Marketing will be working closely with the digital marketing team. To better serve the needs of our clients, we are looking for a highly motivated and detail oriented team member to become our newest Digital Production Specialist, who will be responsible for designing and coding digital assets for our clients’ fundraising and marketing campaigns.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with the Digital Strategist to manage client deliverables
  • Design and code email marketing assets, including but not limited to fundraising appeals, action alerts, cultivations, and newsletters within a variety of CRMs
  • Design and code forms, including donation forms, surveys, quizzes, etc. within a variety of CRM and CMS systems
  • Build audience queries, schedule, and deploy fundraising and communication emails for multiple clients across several CRMs
  • Work with Senior Digital Strategist to plan out, implement, and report on testing and segmentation strategies across multiple campaigns
  • Produce and edit images and graphics for digital use – such as social media posts or data visualizations
  • Manage the quality assurance checklist for digital projects and take responsibility for accuracy and consistency of client creative

Experience and Qualification

  • 2-3 years of experience in digital production
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Confident working with and learning multiple marketing platforms (e.g. Luminate Online, Engaging Networks, Every Action, Salesforce, or Springboard)
  • Comfort with building and running database queries to identify audiences or measure KPIs
  • Familiarity with email testing services, such as Email on Acid, and a proven track-record of troubleshooting formatting and style issues in email templates
  • Knowledge of image-editing software such as Photoshop, InDesign, or equivalent
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to prioritize projects against numerous deadlines
  • Knack for anticipating issues or catching problems before clients see them
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
